Hello! My name is Becka, a kiwi living in Vancouver, BC with my partner in crime and a grey and white cat called Ursula. Together we run a shop selling chalkboards, clocks, bookmarks and the like. I love to thrift, stroll around our lovely neighbourhood, play music, bake, hunt for old quilts, draw and drink copious amounts of tea. Wood is one of our favourite mediums to work in, and has the best smell. This blog is a collection of these things, dreams, inspiration, beautiful music and my attempts to live a gentle, community focused and compassionate life.
I am also a doula and a member of Hello Mama Doula Collective, supporting women and families during pregnancy, labour and post partum. I am a feminist, passionate about womens health & reproductive rights.
