Beer and Knitting. Yes please.

My needles and yarn have been rather neglected lately, with the onset of warmer weather and doing lots of crafting of a more non-knitted variety. I have been missing it though, and excitedly tomorrow I will get the chance to meet up with some of my favourite crafty ladies to grab a pint and get making. If you're in Vancouver, you should definitely come along! Here are the details...

What? Vancouver Craft Mafia monthly Stitch 'n Bitch
Where? The Brick House bar, 730 Main Street (between Union and Georgia, east side of the street)
When? 8pm-10ish
How much? Free of course!

The Brick House is a favourite little spot of mine. Totally out of control decor, it kind of looks like somebodies rec room, but lots of comfy couches and some good beer. You don't have to knit, you can bring any kind of art or craft project that you like, or even just bring yourself and have a chat.

Hope to see you there!

ooh! that sounds fabulous, i didn't realize there were still any stitch'n'bitch type things going on!

is it always on tuesdays? that's my volunteer night, unfortunately. maybe next month i'll be able to come anyway, with a bit of notice - i just saw your tweet tonight, so it's a bit late to cancel!

I so wanted to be there. Let us all know the next meet up, since I only love knitting in the summer. I mean, I like winter knitting, but at that point it is all too late for those mittens I wanted to have done ;)

Hope the beer was nice a cold and the company merry.

Ha! I would love to come but I think it's a little far for me to travel *sob* - it sounds so lovely!

Beer and knitting sounds fabulous! I've been talking about getting together a little group with a friend of mine and maybe we should just accept that the pub is the go!
