The latest purchase in The Brittain household. He is very, very excited. I've tried my hand at it a bit too, and the best part about it is that no matter what you play it has a lovely old-timey clinky sound that makes you feel like you're off in the Appalachian mountains somewhere. My husband started playing banjo about a year ago. He's getting really good. I love that great old sound. I've been learning to play the fiddle (I'm not so good at that, but it's my first instrument).
Have fun with it. And don't forget to dance.
